Overview

Math Tutor Network uses the JUMP Math program for elementary school students who would like to improve on their numeracy skills. JUMP Math is dedicated to enhancing the potential in children by encouraging an understanding and a love of math in students and educators. A guiding principle of JUMP is to ensure that students have mastered and consolidated one step before moving onto the next.

We realize that few elementary school teachers are math specialists and may not have equipped students with the necessary algebra knowledge to do well in high school. Our tutors bridge the gap by delivering customized lesson plans for students, allowing them to learn at their own pace.

Who Should Enroll?

Elementary school students who would like further Math exercises beyond what was provided in school. Our JUMP Math program is also intended for students who do not have a strong interest in Math. By reducing difficult concepts to manageable steps, JUMP ensures that all students experience success and the kind of positive reinforcement that creates engagement and propels further learning.

Lesson Format

Lessons are available for both individual tutoring and group tutoring. Lessons will be held at the student's home, at the public library or online via our virtual tutoring platform. The length and number of lessons will be tailored to students.

Date and Time

Private lessons have flexible start dates and are self-paced. Students may request for as many lessons as necessary to understand each concept.

Group lessons follows a set schedule that is determined based on the students’ schedule. Subject to availability. Please contact us for more detail.

Textbook and Materials

Two volumes (per grade) of the JUMP Math workbook is required and may be purchased for $40.00.
